For the Smashing Pumpkins’ 2019 tour, we created special flexible LED strips that could be put right on inflatable stage parts. These LED lines added bright, moving lights that could be programmed to create cool effects on stage.
The biggest challenge was making sure the LED system could be folded and unfolded many times during transport and use. We made a strong but light LED setup with flexible parts and protective layers. It works with a control system that fits easily into the show. The design is both flexible and safe, so it keeps looking great every time.
The result was a bright and flexible lighting system that worked well at every venue on the tour. The LED lines added amazing light effects to the inflatables without getting in the way, creating a great mix of light and shape throughout the shows.
