For Rammstein’s stadium tour, we designed and built four large round pods, each housing 32 moving lights. Additionally, we engineered custom set carts to hoist the entire set, ensuring smooth and safe rigging during the show.
The set carts had to carry very heavy elements. For example, the cart for the PA system was specially designed to support 8 tons, using four 2-ton hoists, all within a compact frame. The 5-meter pods were split into four parts for transport and assembled on site. Since they were often placed above the PA, it wasn’t possible to lower them quickly in strong winds. So we developed strong, wind-resistant structures and custom hoisting solutions to handle these tough conditions.
The engineered pods and set carts provided reliable, high-performance support throughout the tour. Their strength and stability allowed Rammstein’s complex stage design to be safely and efficiently rigged in large venues worldwide.
