For the US + Them tour by Roger Waters, we developed large inflatable chimneys inspired by our Olympic Games system. These towering structures were a central visual element, evoking industrial themes aligned with the show’s powerful narrative.
The chimneys had to reach significant height while deploying from compact storage positions. We engineered a custom inflatable system with internal pressure control to keep the structure stable and upright, even under changing environmental conditions. A reliable cable-driven motion system with integrated control ensured safe and repeated deployment during the show.
The chimneys rose with striking presence and remained perfectly tensioned and stable throughout each performance. Durable, tour-ready, and visually impactful, they became a memorable centerpiece of the production, delivering technical reliability and theatrical intensity night after night.
